MEET THE CAST

	TRAINER NICOLE   Nicole Beasley is the founder and proprietor of Planet K9 Dog Training Centres. She has been training dogs professionally for more than 10 years. Nicole has trained animals for stage shows, international and corporate events and TV using a gentle positive training method. She holds Bachelor Degrees in Science and Applied Science, majoring in animal behaviour. Nicole lectures in companion animal training at Victoria University and is currently studying at The Actor's Playhouse. She knows better than most how just a little training can greatly enhance the relationship people have with their pets.
	CRAZY COMET!   A wonderfully intelligent and energetic silky terrier mix, Crazy Comet is the cheeky hairy brat of the team! Two years ago Comet was found sad and bedraggled wandering the streets of Melbourne. Fortunately for Comet he was taken to the safety of an animal shelter but sadly nobody came to collect him. This fiesty little dog's luck changed when Trainer Nicole adopted him into her loving home. Comet is now unrecognizable from his days on the streets. Comet's crazy tricks include: playing quoits/hoops;pin the tail on the puppy; dancing the hokey pokey and playing cheeky pranks on Joker Jason.
	ASTRO   At just 3 years of age Astro is a true 'rags to riches' story. Astro arrived at an animal shelter in a very sad state. He was hungry, dirty and unloved. Nobody could see the bright little star inside - just waiting to shine. Not until Trainer Nicole came along and gave Astro the life he deserves - the life of a super star! Due to being mistreated as a puppy, Astro took quite a long time to establish trust in humans. His training required much patience. Astro loves performing in The Animal Trainer Show and teaching children how to treat pets with love and patience. Astro's favourite dance is the limbo . Yes a Jack Russell doing the limbo!
